It was Saturday and I had nothing to do. Fresh out of college without any direction on where to go next, I had fallen into a slump of doing nothing but watching endless videos on youtube. And I suppose that's where it started. See, eventually, on that Saturday, I found one particular video that was quite intriguing. It was a video/short documentary on a series of disappearances in the woods not far from my town. At first it was ridiculous - the narrator kept going on and on about a Native American legend that the woods was home to some spirits that transformed people in some way or another. I wrote it off as local hogwash - and yet the notion that this forest was still relatively unexplored (not to mention absolutely beautiful) made me interested enough that I figured I could check it out for myself. So I put on some loose-fitting tan pants, a black t-shirt, and a pair of sandals. Yes, I admit, it was a poor choice in footwear, but I also didn't expect to be in the forest for too long.
It took about 20 minutes to drive to the outskirts of the forest. All the trees were in that beautiful transition from their summer green to the reds, yellows, and browns of fall. As I looked around, I noticed no one else was there.
"Good." I smirked. "Makes it better when I have the place all to myself. Maybe they all got scared away by those 'spooky spirits'."
I began to wander deeper into the thicket. For an unexplored forest, there were a surprising amount of cleared trails winding through the trees. Still, the father I walked, the more uneasy I began to feel. The woods were eerily quiet, with only the lone bird chirp here and there. Before long, though, I could hear the sound of rushing water.
"Well, I didn't bring my water bottle, and it does feel kinda hot out...I guess I could go check it out." I said to no one in particular, and began to head in the direction of the sound. Before long I came to a clearing, and saw a pristine, babbling creek cutting its way through a stony gulley.
"Beautiful." I whispered.
As I approached the creek I began to feel...off. As in something around me - the air maybe? - was different. I couldn't tell. But by the time I reached the water I was very tense. Suddenly, a great gust of wind burst in my face, almost as if something had swooshed past, or rather through, me. And then, before I could process what had happened, an odd, numbing sensation began to fill my body, concentrating first in my feet.
"What the...?!?" I gasped, as I lowered my gaze.
I saw my sandals grow thicker and encase my shrinking feet in a pair of grey Converse. My legs grew slender, and my jeans with them, as a hole tore itself in the knee. My manhood shifted into a wet, warm slit in my crotch. My hips flared and my butt expanded, pressing firmly against my pants. Underneath my boxers had shaped themselves into a lacy thong. Still frozen by the stone’s magic, I watched helplessly as my shirt changed into a thicker one, striped in shades of purple, with long sleeves rolled up past my elbows. Below that point my arms thinned and lost their thick, manly hair. My hands followed suit, becoming slender and delicate. Several cords and bracelets wound their way around both of my wrists and forearms.
The neck of my shirt dipped down into a v-shape, and from the lower corner of my eye I could see it beginning to push outwards. Before I knew it, two voluptuous breasts were pressing against its fabric – the feeling of tension made my enlarging nipples grow hard. Twin pads appeared to separate the two, and as soon as I felt a set of straps wrapping themselves around my upper torso and shoulders I knew I was now wearing a bra. My shoulders and neck lessened as well, allowing my shirt to fit more comfortably.
Soon I felt the changes in my face. All of my skin lightened in shade, and became quite soft. Lips swelled, nose grew shrank and petite; even my eyes felt different, as though they had grown a tad larger. My ears actually grew – I had small ears for a guy – and I felt bits of metal slither their way down from them. Earrings, no doubt. In a wash my hair grew and tumbled to one side, changing from the familiar muddled brown to a bright blonde. My eyes became almond-shaped and turned a bright shade of blue, with my eyebrows thinning and my lashes becoming long and thick. As the changes began to finish, I reached up to my throat, feeling my adam's apple disappear. I tried to talk, but out of fear and hoarseness I couldn't do much but cough. Each cough raised my vocal octave a little higher, until I finally let out a high-pitched "ow".
I looked myself over, and I have to admit, I looked beautiful. But I was still in shock.
"I can't believe it...those stories...they're all true. I guess I'm going to need a new name..." I stopped and thought for a moment. I'd thought about female names for myself before, but never this seriously. "Eliza." I said confidently, followed quickly by a heavy sigh.
"So I'm Eliza now...but what the hell comes next?" I paused again, looking around at the woods surrounding me. "Well, Eliza," I began, talking to myself, "I should probably start by getting out of this forest." However, I quickly realized that my changing had left me very disoriented. Exasperated, I sat down on a nearby rock, picked up a stick, and started playing with some leaves floating in the water. "Except that I have no idea where to start. Stupid spirit forest..."

Wow, 2 in one day is active for me. As I finished my last one I found this caption almost fully completed and decided to ride the wave of creativity and pump another out. I may or may not make a series of captions themed around this same forest - we'll see. But for now, enjoy this one.
Will enter that magical forest too very soon!
Very lovely .... .
Ooo. I really like the story's concept. I can see a potential series coming from this even. It really makes me want to write one like this.
Part two? I'd like to see how she deals with this.
